On the slopes of Moslava\u010dka Gora, in Popova\u010da, Ivan Kosovec grows 3 hectares of ecological vineyards in one of the most beautiful locations in Moslavina. With him, everything is simple\u2014manual work and minimal protection, without artificial fertilizers, insecticides, or herbicides. His wine story began with his grandfather, whilst Ivan was helping him in the cellar, and his love for this job led him to study oenology in Pore\u010d. During his studies, he decided to buy a little more than 3 hectares of overgrown land, which he turned into a vineyard during the course of two years. He planted the varieties \u0160krlet, Chardonnay, Blaufr\u00e4nkisch, Zweigelt, and Pinot Noir. Ivan never shied away from being different, nor did he seek the recognition of others. He found inspiration in Ivan Enjingi, whom he considers a true legend. Thanks to his free spirit, he managed to do what no one had ever done before\u2014he put Moslavina\u2019s \u0160krlet on the global wine map. His Selekcija (meaning \u201cSelection\u201d), a macerated and aged \u0160krlet, has become an iconic wine among wine connoisseurs and enthusiasts. The courage and effort paid off, because today Ivan\u2019s name stands for authentic and quality Moslavina wines. <\/p>\n
