One of the wineries that caught our eye is Dl\u00fah\u00e9 Grefty (meaning \u201cVineyard Row\u201d<\/i> in the local Czech dialect). Behind it is a family man and computer scientist by profession, Jaroslav Tesa\u0159\u00edk, who chose working in the vineyard as an alternative to working out in the gym, but in the process, he developed a love for the craft, and in 2011, he and his wife erected a wine cellar in the family house, bottling their first wine in 2013. Today, they cultivate seven hectares of vineyard divided into 23 smaller plots and do not manipulate either the must or the wine. The only addition is a minimum intake of sulphites, in case they consider it necessary. That depends from year to year.
