Description
Timotheus is a complex semi-macerated white blend of Grüner Veltliner and Pinot Blanc from 40-year-old vines. About one third of the wine ferments on the skins for three weeks, while the rest is immediately pressed. After aging for a year in 500-liter barrels, the wine is bottled unfiltered and without added sulfur. It has a strong character and outstanding texture, balancing floral aromas, spice, and vibrant fruit notes of orange, green apple, and melon. On the palate, it is soft and velvety, with pronounced acidity and a long, elegant finish.
