Description
Stagnum Rosé is an elegant and complex rosé wine made from the Plavac Mali variety, sourced from organically cultivated vineyards on the southern slopes of the Pelješac Peninsula. It is produced through a short maceration, which gives the wine its delicate salmon hue while preserving its freshness and the distinctive depth of Plavac. On the nose, it opens with fruity aromas of raspberry, strawberry, and ripe cherry, complemented by subtle notes of Mediterranean herbs and a touch of sea-breeze freshness. The palate is fresh, mineral, and well-rounded, with a fine structure and a gentle but present tannic backbone, making it a more serious rosé that evolves beautifully in the glass. It is made using natural methods, with spontaneous fermentation and no added yeasts, and is unfiltered, preserving the full expression and authenticity of its terroir.
