The first pet-nat from Kosovec Winery has landed! Like all of Ivan’s wines, it immediately caught our attention. Its deep dark-red color comes from a two-day maceration of Pinot Noir, which makes up the majority of the blend, with the rest being Chardonnay. These two classic sparkling varieties here take on an unconventional form of natural bubbles, bursting with forest fruit aromas and vibrant freshness. A small word of caution: have a glass ready when opening, as this impatient wine loves to fizz right away. But don’t let that discourage you – it’s absolutely worth trying!
