Description
Heinrich Pinot Freyheit is a red wine from the Leithaberg hills in Burgenland, made from Pinot Noir grown according to biodynamic principles. The vineyards on slate soils give the wine a pronounced minerality and unique character. The harvest is manual, and fermentation is spontaneous, with two weeks of maceration on whole clusters. The wine ages for 21 months on lees in large barrels and amphorae. The result is an elegant, refined, and authentic wine that faithfully reflects its terroir.
