CLAUS PREISINGER
„It does not matter where the wine comes from, whether it be a cold or warm area. The result that we certainly get is the energy inside the glass. In this way, we learn how a person thinks. Thus, we learn about their attitude towards wine.“
Claus Preisinger is a native of the small town of Golsa, Burgenland, where he produces wine to this day. He grew up on his father’s farm, and at the age of 14, he decided to attend a winemaking school all on his own. He started his own winery in 2000, and has been involved in biodynamics since 2006. Some of the practices of this holistic agriculture he applies in his vineyard are strengthening the immunity of vines by using homeopathic preparations and enriching the soil with microorganisms by applying self-prepared compost. His vineyards are located on both sides of Lake Neusiedl and consist of traditional varieties for the region, with a small percentage of international ones, such as Pinot Noir, which he is personally fond of. He has enriched and delighted the natural wine scene with his skilful, conscious work and free, creative spirit.

Pannobile
Pannobile is a winegrowing association whose members are fellow winegrowers in the area around the city of Gols, Burgenland. The main subject of discussion and the common belief of all members is dedicated work in the vineyard, differentiation of wine quality by terroir characteristics, and a return to indigenous varieties.
