Description
Burja Grašica is the Welschriesling from the Burja Estate cellar, located in Slovenia’s Vipava Valley. The grapes are sourced from a younger vineyard with exceptionally low yields. The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation with a ten-day maceration on the skins and is aged for 12 months in oak casks. In the glass, Grašica displays a deep golden-yellow hue. The nose is rich and layered, offering aromas of ripe apples, savory herbs, and a Mediterranean flair. On the palate, the wine is characterized by a pleasant dryness, bolstered by a distinct mineral and herbal character.
