Description
Natalin is a wine with a special story – it’s named after winemaker Fabrizio Iulio’s grandfather, Gioacchino Natale, affectionately known as “Natalin.” This particular grape variety was his favorite and has long been cultivated on the hillsides surrounding Montaldo di Cerrina, in the Monferrato region. The wine is crafted in the traditional way, with spontaneous fermentation and aging exclusively in cement, without any interventions that might alter its character. Bottling takes place in late spring, under the “good” moonlight, just as his grandfather once did. On the nose, Natalin offers notes of juicy cherry and subtle florals, while in the glass it reveals a vibrant, expressive personality, marked by firm tannins and a solid structure.
