TENUTA GRILLO
„We express our faith in viticulture and the art of wine production, which, step by step, and with each harvest, brings us closer to the sublime interpretation of the vintage, the grape variety, and, above all, the terroir. This challenging decision fuels our commitment and passion.“
This family farm is run by Guido and Igiea Zampaglione, along with their sons. Cascina Grillo is located in the Piedmont region, between the Tanaro and Bormida rivers, just a few kilometres from Mombaruzzo. The farm covers 32 hectares of property, 17 of which are dedicated to vineyards located on a mild plateau at around 350 meters above sea level. The soil is sandy and loamy, which is why it has an excellent ability to drain water. The wines produced here reflect the nature and characteristics of the terroir, vines, and vintages. These are long-lived wines that result from a careful selection of grapes, as well as a respect for nature and tradition.
